It was a quiet week and weekend at the Bay as half term and weather conditions reduced games and training sessions.
However, some of our squads were in action.
U12s v Sleaford (Away)
U12s were away at Sleaford on Sunday.
A very challenging match against a well organised side playing with high intensity.
Some excellent individual and team moments across the Corsairs side, but we unfortunately left Lincolnshire without the win.
A valuable match experience and a great opportunity for the team to learn from.
U11s Training
U11s braved the gale force winds, their reward was an obstacle course to help develop their strength and footwork, followed by a match with no rucks, only offloads. Some outrageous passes and massive tackles - so much fun they complained about the final whistle blowing.
U10s Training
U10’s fought the wind and concentrated on core skills during their training session.
With a decent turnout despite half term, we were able to spend time on organised passing of the ball along the line, rucks and avoiding oncoming players.
We finished with a mini match and it was good to see the boys put practice into play.
Fancy a game?
Did you know, we have adult teams and are looking for new players. If you fancy player, women’s rugby, touch rugby, walking rugby or joining the men’s team who train with Nottinghamians, email join@nottinghamcorsairsrfc.co.uk
