Starting off, there was a brilliant outing for a combined Nottingham Corsairs and Nottingham Casuals U14s team, securing a strong win against a very competitive Chesterfield side.

The boys grew into the game, producing some excellent attacking rugby and several superb tries. It was particularly pleasing to see new players settling in so well and contributing to a real team performance.

Congratulations to Ali, our Player of the Match, for his strong ball-carrying, determined defence and excellent all-round display.

Our U10s joined six other teams at Derby RFC this morning for the Tigers U10s Tournament.

With only a handful of training sessions under their belts since the introduction of rucks and scrums, the team were put to the test against some strong competition. They pulled together brilliantly, showing great teamwork and producing some excellent attacking phases across all four games.

Overall, it was a really consistent team effort, with the players demonstrating plenty of skill, determination and growing confidence on the pitch. A great experience for the whole team and lots to build on!
