Kesteven Festival 9th October 2011

The first festival of the season saw us drawn in a tough pool with eventual winners, Oakham.

However, the boys drew with Oakham, and comfortably beat Newark and Melton. This put us on level points with Oakham, who progressed to the final by virtue of having scored two more tries than us in their group matches.

This left us in a third place play-off with Lincoln, which was used to blood some new talent and give substitutes a full run-out.

All in all, a very successful start to the season!
